At this point we find humid gorse-heath of orophylic character (cold zones) (4030pt1), included in Atlantic temperate humid heathlands. This is a priority conservation habitat, due to its rarity in the European Union and being frequently subjected to drainage. The most common species found in this habitat are cross-leaved heather (Erica tetralix), heather (Erica ciliaris) and dwarf gorse (Ulex minor). In terms of fauna it is possible to find principally amphibians, namely various species of newt, salamanders and frog.
