We start the route on the Leonte stone pavement, of vital help in overcoming the steep climb up to the Vidoal corral. This pavement, just like those that occur at other points of interest, was constructed by local inhabitants and lead us, as is almost always the case, to a corral. The pavement stones, already worn, bear testimony to the antiquity of this structure. It is viewed with curiosity and surprise by forestry workers, but even to this day this pavement is still used for the purpose for which it was originally constructed, although the shepherds and cattle climb up to the corrals with less and less frequency.
