Another beautiful meadow, the Prado (meadow) da Messe, from which comes the name of this route.
The Abrigo (shelter) at Prado da Messe has the most impressive line of any, having worked stone blocks. This deluxe construction (when compared with the previously seen abrigos) is not at odds with the ruin alongside, known as the Prados da Messe House. It is perfectly apparent that use was made of some of the stones from the ruin, possibly to make an extension to the abrigo. At this corral there is also a spring which we can make use of for replenishing our water flasks.
